Does anyone have the instructions on the Uly heated grip kit? Mine came w/ out the instruction sheet that Buell puts in w/ most everything else. A PDF would be great. Thanks. |

I had a bear of a time drilling a hole in the left side. Wound up just gluing the left grip on. Works fine. |

Drilling the hole is no problem if you use your own bit. The one in the kit is about as useless as gnawing on the bars. |

I used Bearly's guide when I did my kit recently -- helped out in addition to the directions. I picked up several new bits prior to starting after hearing some of the problems some people were having. Took about 10 seconds per side - never tried the kit bit. Routing the wires was the biggest pain for me, after re-doing all my HID/PIAA relay stuff. |

I hit a deer before I installed my grips. That means that my bent-up '06 handlebars (with no pre-drilled holes) were replaced with current-year bars (with pre-drilled holes). I loved Bearly's post, but I laughed myself silly when I realized I didn't have to do any drilling. It made the installation super-fast. No other problems...it was shockingly easy, and I LOVE these things. |

Every time I need to drill a hole on/in something round I make a little flat spot with a file. It gives the bit something to bite into. |
