Awwww CRAP - I might be stuck here late today... trying to break away.
If you go and I don't make it - the group will usually be anywhere from 4-8 folks in the middle of the restaurant. One guy JUST got a Honda 2-stroke classic dirtbike (Steve), another is on a CBR1000 (Marc), another on a Suzuki cruiser (Dave) - there may be one or two VF Hondas (another Steve)
Schedule sucks but I can't break away in a half hour

too funny. I met up with the guys. They're all very cool. looks like there are a lot of Steve's in the group(lol). There was one other noob, he was riding a Harley but he swears it was just a Davidson sans Harley. two stroke steve led the pack home, I kinda got carried away and tried following him and forgot about the rest of the group. I slowed for a bit and made sure that the right number of headlights were in my mirror's then sped up to catch two stroke steve. Most everyone turned off at upper big tujunga, Marc and I took the 2 all the way down into La Canada. Looking forward to next thursday. Any other Uly riders up for next thursday @5:30pm?
Most probably will not get there until around 10:00. Ride starts from there at 10:30.
Also there is going to be an unofficial American Sport Bike barbeque in Las Vegas. Some of us are going to the inside pass event on Thursday October 2nd.
There will be a ride to Zion National PArk on Friday. Ride to Lake Mead on Saturday with the unofficial American Sport Bike barbeque sometime on Saturday.
I believe I have the details correct. We can always talk to Al tomorrow.
Here is the link to the Thread on the Vegas Inside Pass.
I'm gonna have to pass on the scab ride. Daughters opening day for Soccer is tomorrow. If any of you take a camera please post some pics of the ride here in this thread.
Best times of my life were 10+ years with three kids in AYSO and HS soccer.
Get into refereeing, it's a blast. If you're good enough the parents hate you but the kids are smart and will toe the line, play by the laws and can amaze you with their performance and abilities.
Yep, great memories, but they're all grown up now and I get to ride motorcycles again!
Here is a quick 8 minute video from the SCAB ride. Taken as we were leaving Newcombs and stopping to wait for the rest of the pack at the upper Tujunga turn off. The original video is much better quality.
Started at 2/210 at the 76 station. Went up the 2 past newcombs and all the way to gate where the road is closed. Then back down to newcombs for a small rest stop. Then to Upper Big Tujunga where the above video ended. From there to Angeles Forest Highway. Went to hidden springs for lunch.
From there we went to Mt. Emma Rd. and on to Devil's Punch bowl with a fuel stop in between. Then from there to Big Pines and the other side of highway 2. Continued down the 2 to the othr side of the closure. Turned around and stopped in Wrightwood. From there everyone split up and headed their respective ways.
