Your mailbox is full. Please get back to me ASAP. If I've not heard back from you in the next couple days I'll have to recall my payment to you.

I saw you post here yesterday, so you obviously still have internet access.

Hi Bryan,

Goods were sent in the post on Saturday 12th July. The PSU on my pc failed, but as you noticed, I was back on line yesterday. The Post Office here has said the items should be with you in 7 - 10 days. I will try and scan the posting receipt and send it to you.

Hi Bryan, Please let me know as soon as the items arrive. My email is back up and running, but at the moment, I am unable to retrieve my old emails and email address book, so feel free to contact me again.

Hi Bryan,

Thanks for letting me know the items arrived safely, apologies for getting you all worried when I "disappeared" for a few days!

=P

I apologized to him for the heavy-handed approach, but I've been burned a couple times recently in similar transactions and my trust level's pretty low at the moment.

Mike did exactly as he promised, the parts are here, work great, and are going to the powder-coater today to try to tone down the fugly factor.

:-)

See you're from Swansea - That brings back memories to me... I was stationed in Wales (RAF Brawdy) back in the day (Haverfordwest).. Just thought I'd poke into the thread and say

Yaki-dah!<sp?>

Hi Freyke,

Nice to hear from you! Haverfordwest is on one of my ride routes to the Pembroke and Cardigan coastal roads, then it's back over the Prescelli Mountains and home again!!!

I want to go to Wales sometime in my life. I understand every third person there is surnamed 'Morgan'. I cannot imagine a better way to see it than from a motorcycle saddle.

As long as I remember that left-hand thing. Eeek.

If you ever feel like playing the tour guide, I will have to look you up!

Red_chilli,

If you ever get to visit South Wales, I would be more than happy to act as a guide and show you some of the finest biking roads and coastline in the world!

(Same goes for any other BadWeatherBikers thinking of making the trip)

Thanks for the offer as tour guide! I don't have any near term plans though; however, as MacArthur said, " I shall return."

A little non sequiter note - My wife and I were married in Wales 24 years ago this past June. Although she's not a Welsh national, she's of Welsh heritage (maiden name Smith). Yup those were the days, we lived in a 500 sqft, 17 Century stone cottage (Brimmiston <sp?>; ) with no heat other than a coal fire and electricity that ran off a meter which gobbled 50P coins, and sheep that would clog up the hedgerows on one's way to the pub.

Loved it!

Where exactly in Wales were you? Check on Brimmiston, can't say I've ever heard of it and Autoroute Express can't find it!!!

It's near Hayscastle Cross if memory serves me. Try "Brimmistone Cottage"

I think this may be it.

Hi Freyke,

I got it! I passed by there yesterday on my way home from Fishguard after a long weekend in Wicklow, Ireland on the Uly.

Ahhhhh, Fishgard - ferry to Rosslare - Did you take the "vomit comet?" Big fun.

I wonder if the "Globe" pub is still there... Likely I guess... Good stop it is.

I went out Pembroke Dock - Rosslare and came back on the Stena Express high speed catamaran aka The Vomit Comet. Fortunately, it was like a mill pond both ways!!!!

Yes, the Globe is still there!
