Anybody had any issues here. I have now had two, One was around the rocker box.

Now, I just picked it up from a 10 000 mile service and I have a slight trail of oil that seems to be spraying back on the frame near the lower foot peg on the left side, very slight but when sitting on the bike after a ride you can see oil trails on the frame.

Mine leaks a little where the clutch cable goes into the primary cover. If it is very light oil (thin like WD-40) then it could be some residual from them lubing the clutch cable. It is kind of a long way for the oil to travel to get from the clutch cable area to the frame by the footpeg though.

It could be that a little bit got spilled when the primary was filled.

Let us know what you find out.

I just fixed a couple of leaks a few months ago. with about 16000 miles on my 06, there was a leak at the shifter shaft seal and the clutch cable. The Clutch cable was leaking internally and was replaced under warranty as was the Shifter Shaft.

I just removed and reinstalled the chin fairing for the first time (to install a Drummer).

I happened to notice that one of the forward bolts on the right side of the scoop, if tightened all the way, hits the hard oil line that's coming off the case just aft of the oil filter. This could be a BAD thing.
