Has anyone upgraded to some stronger handguards like the Acerbis? The stocker look good but arent made for a real hit.

I upgraded to a set of Cycra Probend's. Best upgrade EVER! After two spills and trashing my brake lever's off road...time for something that won't break!

BTW...no pics of them yet. I should go take some....

Pics would be great!! The price stockers are fetching on Ebay should pay for a nice set of Cycras.

Yes, I used the right fit clamps. Fit is great. And the protection is even better.

I mounted the same set but cut the stock plastic handguards to cover the aluminum. I have the Touratech handguard mod and didn't want to loose the wind block. I have some pics but can't upload them now.

My in bar POLY heated grips still fit inside with the mount up of these aluminum guards.

I was camping on the up hill side in the pics. BTW how was that drive back north after MBV?

I had the acerbis but opted for something stronger.

Here is a shot of the moose racing atv handguards on factory bars. I re-used the acerbis swivels on the inside and installed to fit outside the bar-end mirrors to protect them. The plastic can come off in the summertime if too hot. I bought these off ebay for 10 bucks used, then later learned they were also available with black metal.
