I know people are doing the Aprillia Tuono mirrors. Do you think the KTM mirrors on the super duke would fit?

I think Teeps did it, IIRC. Took some machining though, if I'm not mistaken...

Yes I did; it's a bolt on with KTM adapters, just costs more.
KTM mirrors with KTM adapters cost as much as the Apprilla mirrors.

The pair of KTM mirrors were $50 + tax. If you have access to a lathe you can machine collars to adapt them to fit the Buell adapters. KTM adapters are another $45.

If I were to do it over, I would buy the KTM adapters.

Sorry, no photos...

The Aprilia Tuono mirrors are $29.95 each at American Sport Bike, though he mentioned he was almost out when I ordered mine.
Italian backorders are slower than global warming.
I think I have seen some posts that mention the mirrors have been found even cheaper through Aprilia dealers, but I did not check.

Are the Tuono mirrors plug-n-play?
Does it matter what year Tuono mirrors?

Yes, the Tuono mirrors are plug-n-play. Takes all of 3 minutes.
