I remember seeing, I think on this or advrider forum, a triple tail bag, it was kinda small, nice compact size, fitted well, looked great. Could use flat on the seat or up in passenger position, anyone remember what it was or where to get it?

Would love links pics what not. I really want one to go along with my (soon to order) touratech handlebar manpurse.

No, it's more rigid, smaller, and smoother.

Thanks though,

Take a look at Kriega gear. I have the US20 tailpack and it is superbly made, waterproof and durable. Highly recommended!!!

+1 Kriega. Wonderful stuff. I have 35l backpack, and their "US40" which is a 20l module and two 10l modules strapped together. Designed by bikers for bikers and all that.

For just normal day to day I use a Hein Gericke Toureg bag - which is brilliant, almost tailor made for the beaver-tail.

I called a UK shop for you, and it may be that the exact bag is discontinued.... Always the way.

Best bet is order it online from Germany? They still have it. The UK site is not as good, and does not have it (that I can find).

Found it on the German site. I could not figure out how to paste the url (it just is their store-front), so you have to go to the site, and search (“suche”) on “Tuareg Gepäcktasche”. You need the first "a" to be that funny one with two dots for it to work.

There is also another model that looks the same base, but with more volume.

Hope this helps!

I believe you are talking about the one that Al sells at American Sportbike a sponsor. I have one and it is great. It is a Ventura Bag. They may have changed because mine is waterproof. Been proven in pouring rain for 200 miles.

Thanks much Big......the picture on the web site looks a little different then yours as the straps look like a shoulder loop strap. Am I seeing that correctly?

The logo is slightly different, but the straps seem the same - they are pretty long and thin, which works out well (I just cannot see the clips in the photo as they must be on the other side - which is the same on my bag).
I loop the one around the base of the beaver tail twice before clipping it, and the top one has 6-9 inches of free strap that I tie in a knot just to get rid of.
That little strap you see on the narrow end of the bag - it is velcro, and I loop it through one of the hitching holes on the base of the beaver-tail, which just gives added strength. Nothing will budge it. : D

I should say - it is not waterproof, just water resistant - just normal zips etc. It holds up pretty well in a rain storm as is behind the rider, however if you leave on side of road getting rained on then water will eventually come through. I don't care, as I never leave anything in it - mainly it just carries my chain.
The Kriega stuff is completely waterproof.

I know this is not the one you saw, but here is a picture of mine parked at work this morning with a Buell S1 tail bag attached to the triple tail. Fits great and looks even better.

Sorry to hijack the thread.

Dougm, what is the make and model of those tires? Tread pattern looks better than the Scorpions that come on the 08.

Dunlop D616. They came as OEM on the 06.

Yes those are the Dunflops. Winner of the 2006 Worst Tire of the Year award. : )

They are marginally better than the Scorpions off road, but they suck everywhere else.

Believe it or not but the one that I am talking about isn't listed, there are some very nice alternatives though. I wish I were at home I could scrounge up a picture of it possibly.

It is more like this, kinda.

Buellinabq WINS! it's the first link you listed 2 posts up!

Thank you very much! Very nice bag I like it a lot, looks like you can fit a lot in it, strap something too it, and it looks pretty good.

Thanks for all the effort everyone put in listing all the different style bags, if you'd like keep it going, could make this a good reference post.
