I have posted a quick comparison of three popular Buell Ulysses windscreens. With the help of my lovely assistant, oh wait, she didn't show up....with the help of Gotj, we show the primary difference between the two revisions of Buell tall windscreens and the Zero Gravity. Enjoy!

Nicely done! That's awesome! Thanks for taking the time to do this.

I'm 6'4" and running the stock screen now. I get a lot of dirty air at helmet level making it noisy. I don't mind wind, but I don't like buffetting noise. I'm wondering if the Zero Gravity would be a better bet for getting clean air at the helmet. Gotj- what do you think??

"I get a lot of dirty air at helmet level making it noisy. I don't mind wind, but I don't like buffetting noise."

Very surprised you get any buffeting at all with the stock screen. I'm 6'3" and my helmet is in clean undisturbed air (with stock screen).
I use the CEE Bailey +2.5" and still have clean air around my helmet.
If you're getting hit with bumpy air with the stock screen, you'll get slammed with any of the aftermarket ones for sure. All of them raise the low pressure bubble up higher on your chest.

Curiously, if I raise my head about 2" while I'm riding I get into clean air. I'm thinking the Madstad device might be the ticket. On my previous bike, a BMW RT, the ability to angle the windscreen made a huge difference. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that Madstand makes a unit for the Uly. At least not yet.

Nice job, although swim suit models would have been a nice addition...and before you even go there...I mean female swim suit models!

Maximum, swim suit models will be included in later episodes but Etennuly is NOT going to like being excluded.

I could'v sworn I just saw someone post a picture of a 12X with a prototype adjustable windshield bracket. It was here or advrider. Can't seem to find the thread it was on.

It was added to the "Which windscreen do you prefer" thread posted by Bugnut on Nov. 20, 2007 at 3:36 P.M.

Etennuly = swim suit model

That isn't likely to happen.

I thought George had it covered(completely covered).

Yep, 'Twas Vagabond and myself. We have been test mules for the Madstad bracket. Great stuff. Hit Mark up at support@madstad.com or his web site. This thing works great for tall folks. Short ones to I think.

I want to thank Orange and Etenn for putting together that video and posting it for our viewing pleasure.

Not being a person familiar with aerodynamics, though, it would be great if there was some way to compare the functionality of the different screens.

I agree. Unfortunately about the best I can do is smoke a cigar and blow real hard at the screen.

Seriously if anyone can think of a way to film it, I'd be willing to consider it.

I read in another thread somewhere about some smoke generating machine used to detect engine leaks. Maybe you could suspend one of those on a rod about ten feet in front of your bike and go out on the interstate. Then get Etenn to ride beside carrying a camera person.

Of course the might make it hard to see. And the machine might be too heavy, so you might have to mount it on the back of another bike riding in front of you. Maybe a Harley so you can follow the sound in case the smoke is too thick.

I know there are some bugs to work out, but I am sure you can do it. Now that I have you pointed in the right direction anyway.

Those bar ends on George's bike are really hot.

Mebby I could ride in front of Gotj with an old smoky two stroke and Orange could film it!

Mark, I'm looking at Saturday for riding.
