I am going to purchase a Russell Day Long seat for my '08 Ulysses. I am looking to buy a used donor seat for the seat pan. As far as seat pans go - are they all the same for the Ulysses and the padding is different or is the '06 seat pan different from the '07 and '08? How about the low seat - is that a different pan? thanks, Jeff |

As far as I know they are the same pan. I have the '06 stock and low and they are identical except for the padding and maybe top stitching but I can't remember. Tell us about your Russell experience when you can. I have been thinking about pulling the trigger on a custom seat and that is why I have kept the '06 low. IMO it is the worst for LD comfort. |

I have an 06 low and an 07 seat, they both use the same pan. |

I am also considering the russell seat. Based on research it is the most comfortable long range seat out there, (but in my opinion not the most beautiful) A picture of a Ulysses with the Russell saddle would be greatly appreciated |
