Getting ready to take my bike in for the 1,000 mile. Just in time. Noticed that I am getting oil dripping down the side case from somewhere up high. Got on the ground and with a flashlight you can see oil up high on the engine fins on the rear cylinder, I suspect a cylinder head leak.

check the rear cylinder breather grommet on top of the valve covers. had a couple of drops there, it went away.

Could one of the breather lines popped out at one end or the other?

Or could you actually have one of the first XB series engines to loose a rocker box gasket? No school like the old school baby!

Both my rocker box gaskets are leaking on my Uly. 17000 miles on it now.

Take your air box cover off, check that both breather hoses are sticking up through the air cleaner base.
