Ordered a +2 1/2 the other day. Got a call today that they have stopped making it. Darn and I wanted the dark smoke one. Any other ideas? Zero Gravity?.... |

Whoa, that sucks. I'm glad I got mine when I did, it's really excellent. |

Same here. I had ordered a 2.5 dark smoke, only to have my money refunded today. At least they contacted the customers to let them know. |

I wonder why they would stop making something that was popular? Doesnt make since. |

And I was just about to order one today! I guess that's what I get for waiting. Were the +2.5" shields prone to coming off at speed as well? I don't recall hearing anything about that. |

I've not heard anything about the 2.5s coming off. Mine is rock solid, even at interstate speeds. That's too bad. It's an excellent product. |

Someone from CB left me a message telling me they no long have it. That is an outrage! Maybe they broke the mold and need to get it fixed before they make anymore. Someone in marketing needs to get fired for discontinuing this product! |

It probably has to do with liability issue surrounding the use of the stock rubber grommet mounting. No +4.5 either, only the permanent mounted touring shield is left. So, is there a comparable screen from another maker? |

Then they should send different mounting hardware for it and keep it on the market. It was 35 degrees this morning and I froze my arse off! I need somemore wind protection. |

I've got a CB14+ cut down to about a 4+ and it's for sale cheap. 50 bucks and that includes shipping within U.S. The white spot in the middle of the painted portion is just the reflection of the camera flash.

Save your money and wait for the Parabellum. Charly has a great reputation for designing windshields that do the job. |

Javadog, I've been tooting the Parabellum horn for some time now. Hopefully very soon. |

No pictures yet because it dosen't exist yet. Get the phone number off the parabellum website and ask Charly yourself. |

Snowscum, I run the stock Buell screen in the summer and the Buell tall screen in the Spring/Fall since I commute in the cold. The tall screen is quite a bit warmer, (or would that be less cold?) and has quite a bit more protection than the CB +2.5. I am 5'11" tall and with the Buell tall screen the wind just nicks the top of my shoulders. I am still waiting for the recall to get done on the tall screen but I am not too concerned about it since when I first put it on I went from East to West Idaho pushing a terrible 40 MPH gusty headwind... and I was moving at a "brisk" pace as well. I would also highly recommend heated hand grips for cold weather commuting. They make a huge difference. Happy Trails |

Charly got really busy on his side.. then I started a new job in my side... so he has not had my bike to continue his initial work on the screen. We have touched based and are planning to continue.. just trying to figure out when. |
