I took the bike in on wed for the 1,000 mile service and also the side stand recall fix.It seems now that the bike is not quite as smooth as it was when running around 3,000. I am not lugging the engine but I do get a minor surging almost like a small misfire. The bike also has a feel like the tires are way over inflated or like the feeling you get on low aspect tires. I checked the suspension and it is still tuned it like I had fine tuned it. The clutch cable had also been adjusted so that the contact point is at the begining of lever travel. Is there anything that they could have done that would cause this phenomina? I am suspicious of all dealers until they prove themselves trustworthy, so I am not sure if I am just being paranoid or not. Also this dealer has only sold one other Uly.
At this dealership I felt like an inner-city person at an inner city hospital, without health insurance with a minor injury seing an intern that had just worked the last 36 hours straight. Or better yet felt like going to an american car dealer shop. I didn't get to talk with the mechanic which is also a new experience for me. I guess I am accustomed to the protocall established by all the other dealers that I have worked with.

I was getting a surging/missing thing at 2800 RPM after my 1K service. A TPS reset resolved it completely.

Sorry about your dealer experience. I am blessed with with a terrific dealer. Is that the only one in your area?
