If I hear one more thing about the Ulysses I'm going to scream. Yea, sure, it's a nice bike and it probably will be great for Buell but it's a completely different type of bike then a traditional Buell sportbike. It's like talking about Chevy pickups in a Corvette forum.

I got and XB9R. I preferred it over the XB9S initially, but since have grown quite fond of the look of the "S". Perhaps over time, you too will welcome the Xb12X into the fold.

Give it a little time

I have been fascinated by the both the XB12Ss as well as the XB12X. I think it will add many new riders to the XB experience which is a good thing for us all. I think it will add more people to the board, which is a good thing

I think it will add to and improve the breed of the bike. There were many people looking for just a bit bigger bike to fit them better. Now they have it

I still think the look of my XB9R is tops...and it still turn as many heads as ever...and will continue to do so even with the XB12X on the scene. I think your "S" will continue to turn heads too

my 1998 S1 Lightning still turns heads and I always get questions where ever I stop.
I'm trading My XB9R for a XB12X and maybe I'll get another "R" next year........

This actually took a lot longer than I expected : )

But I agree, the Ulysses should have its own forum, which I believe Blake is working on as we type.

"It's like talking about Chevy pickups in a Corvette forum."

Try talkin to an "S" owner about an "R"... ; )

That said... I think maybe we should have one once we have quite a few Ulysses owners. I would just hate to alienate them before there are a lot of them. If we get one now, we'll need to make it very clear that a LOT of the info on XB's can be used with the Ulysses.

All the more reason to keep all the XB's together.

I agree also. I'm on my second firebolt. I traded the 9 for the 12 and have over 30K miles in four years on the two of them You know the "best cornering bike in the world"

while i'm happy that the S and the X exist, i'm not interested in them for myself.

An XB is an XB, why split it up? The XBX is designed for 90% road/10% dirt, will it get ostracized for being 10% impure? : ) Plus it can lean further, if one dared, and might become known for being faster around tight *rough* sections of twisties than the other XB's.

It's an XB, and will stay on the XBoard.
If you have a problem with seeing a title of a thread titled Uly or the like, don't click.
I do believe Blake has already said it won't get a separate section on the BadWeB.
It's already hard enough for the custodians to keep up with what goes on now the way things are.

Or if you mean it's own forum, rather than it's own section on the BadWeB, I'm sure one will pop up sooner or later.

Correction, the Uly can't lean further than an R or an S. Go to the Buell web site and choose the side-by-side comparison option.
