There are a whole fluster cluck of the new Buells downtown Denver right now! I sat on the Black Ulysses. Sweet Mother. MUST RESIST! I was going to biznitch about the bike and crap. But it is so roomy and comfortable! This bike is SOLID! I own a XB9S and wow this really feels like a totally different bike. I would have asked to test drive it but no one was around! I should have stolen the black one with the luggage!

LOL! Like I posted earlier, I just HOPE my dealer doesn't get an XB12X any time soon or I may be financially ruined....

Whodom, You get one and I'll get one and then I can show you some amazing rides in Western NC. I think that bike was made for that area. So many of the great back roads turn to gravel as they go over the mountain. I tell ya, this bike could make me uproot me whole life and move back to Asheville just to get to ride it there. (Guess I ought to ride it first though).

Rubberdown, this bike could make me finally move to Western NC or Northern GA and to heck with the hot, humid, flat coast!!! I'll take mountains over ocean any time. Actually we have some pretty decent dirt roads down here that would be worth exploring.

Well, it might not hurt to ride it first....

Do you think the Press might be testing the Ulysses on both paved and unpaved twisty roads in Colorado? What a concept! I wonder if they might find enough to adequately evaluate the bike?

I wonder which mag will be next after Cycle World? Motorcycle Online has been pretty Buell friendly in the past; wouldn't be surprised to see them have a review posted in a week or two.

I was one of the ones riding around Denver. Buell was offering test rides to dealers at the show. The bike is incredible. The seating position is great. Very comfortable. I can't wait to do our demo event in the North Ga Mountains again. I need to go scout some of the dirt roads for Demos. My first one should be here in about 2 weeks.

Actually, Colorado is fine location to be testing...you can actually ride from one end of the state to the other on dirt roads. Serious elevation changes to wring out the FI. Abundant open space for a quick top-end rush. Nothing quite like working up to the highest point for an overlook and then descending westward across the valley's and up into the next range...expect the weather to change by elevation and remember to take a rain suit!

I do believe Mr. Wilson could attest to the fitness of Colorado highways and roads as a test bed for the Ulysses platform...

Just got back from many hours on these roads with the Ulysses and Lightning models. Really superb roads, and what great bikes for these roads! Wait 'til you read the articles. A shameless plug, but head for your newstands soon!

Today when I was arriving at work, the H-D truck was there delivering motorcycles. I was so excited to see a Buell crate on the loading dock! We received our first XB12SS today! Maybe the Ulysses will be on the next truck! Although, rumor has it that one PA Buell dealer rode a Ulysses home from the Denver show.

There isn't by chance a call out about a stolen one from the show is there?

No, not stolen. Some of the dealers ride their new additions to their demo fleets home from the show. I would have loved to take one for a ride, but I am way too vertically challenged to even begin to touch the ground on the Ulysses.}
