Anyone know when the sale for the stock pile of remaining parts will be?

I tried emailing them, but I don't think they are monitoring it.

Thanks
Jeremy

I don't think LAP or EBR has indicated there will be a sell-off of remaining parts, at least not anytime soon. They actually said they would continue to provide warranty and parts support for the 2016 and 2017 model bikes, so that means they should continue to stock parts for at least another year.

The press release did say the production equipment will be sold off next month.

Maybe that is what I was getting confused with. I'll keep an eye out to see if that changes.

I went back and looked at the press release, it does actually mention a parts sale next month:

quote:

A sale of production equipment and excess parts will start in March.

So they'll be selling "excess" parts, whatever that means. EBR announced earlier this week via e-mail and Facebook that there are 2017 models available for sale that will have the full one year warranty and they will continue to provide parts support.

I try to email the parts address to see if I get a reply, not sure how much is being staffed with the slow down. I know I've tried to email the tech address about the split tail parts, but haven't heard back from them.

I really want to pick up a set of blue plastics for me SX. Depending on the sale price I might sell the stock or keep as a backup.

I don't have Facebook so I can't sty on top of the announcements there, so if anyone hears anything please post it up here.

Thanks

They won't sell you bodywork... they are saving it for warranty claims....

Actually they are having an $11 million dollar motorcycle parts sale. But it does not appear to have anything to do with Buell. Can't tell where they got the parts.
