Question... I had a shop near me put in my EBR replacement clutch actuator and they called saying that there was something wrong with it doin went in and they gave me a handful of shredded o-rings off the new actuator. So I'm in the process of trying to get a new set from EBR but why am I paying for new ones and working with EBR to get them when the shop f-Ed them up? I hate to get hostile while my bike is still in their custody. |

I wouldn't get hostile- they have your bike - get the parts they need (you and they (the shop) are going thru a learning curve) and once you have the O-rings BUT before you hand them over - discuss with the service manager how you can be fairly compensated for your efforts (getting the replacement O rings and time lost riding) ---if they're a fair shop shouldn't be a problem - if they won't even discuss the compensation ( reduction in the bill or credit of some kind ) - suggest you take the parts and the bike to another shop...hope this helps |
