i have no problem doing the flush mount turn signals on my buell since both of my mirrors are gone, but honestly I don't like the bar end mirrors and I was wondering if anyone else has done something different on the mounting position....I'm really hoping to start modifying my bike this summer since it will be paid off in the next couple of months! You guys have been the most helpful website and I have done searches for mounts and such but not having the luck im looking for thanks!! | ||

I use one of those wireless cameras on my Ducati 1198 because the mirrors are the worst I've ever come across, and bar end mirrors which I have on all my Buells, really spoil the lines. | ||

If its an 1125 I took the outer marker lights and wired yellow bulbs into the them activated by turn signals | ||

I mounted Napolean bar ends on top of the handlebars where the stock lollypop mirrors were on my S1 and, IMHO, looks a bit better than the stockers plus the bike is not as wide as when they were sticking out from the handlebars. The hard part was making left-hand threaded adapters to fit the mirror mounts. | ||

I would say the backup camera mod sounds like a good one but just remember to get one with a nite lite. | ||

well i may mount them in a different spot, but me personally i use my mirrors a lot along with looking behind me. I will figure out a way, but I want to do it before we go on long trips.....sorry flesh rocket for the lame title, next time I will post one for your approval  .....thanks guys, I will look into some things | ||

For some reason, I thought you had a CR... I have an R and the first time I rode it, I knew I hated the mirrors. I tried several ideas to fix them, make them work. wasted effort. Finally accepted they sucked and got a pair of Firebolt long-stem(05+ IIRC) mirrors. Wired the turn signals to the front marker lights. Replaced the halogen lo-beams with HID 6k *K(light blue tint). I can't remember the last time someone turned left or cut me off. Oh yeah, I love the mirrors.  I've seen some Honda flush-mounts done nicely. Some of the R1-R6 stuff will also work. Z |
