Erik and Tish were absolutely brilliant and we can't thank them enough for coming over to England to attend our event. Erik in particular was amazing, he spent so much time chatting with everyone, autographing motorcycles and memorabilia.
Despite poor weather on the day there was a record attendance of 115 Buells/EBRs. We arranged for some professional photos to be taken at the event and these will be available in the next few days.

I thought this was a very interesting post in the UK BEG forum:
... it was quite sad listening to Erik explain what had happened with EBR, the - total lack of interest in ANYTHING home grown due to 39% corporation tax! It appears he may well have got backing if he out sourced to S Korea/China/India etc, but rightly or wrongly he stuck to his principles and said that it would be made in America there by creating American jobs.
That would certainly seem to explain the complete lack of interest from US investors.

That may explain in part the hero saga as well

On Monday, we didn’t realise until later in day that Erik had been asking people to donate to Emma’s Charity when he autographed motorcycles and memorabilia.
One rider, who wishes to remain anonymous, didn’t have enough spare cash on him to donate when Erik autographed his Buell. He’s now made a very generous donation of £100 on Emma’s Charity webpage: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/emma-radford-ukbeg
The amount raised for Emma’s Charity through this event now stands at £1,955.00.
We’ve now received the professional pictures taken by Alan Markham that record the visit of Erik Buell to Ems Day on the 29th May 2017. We’ve put all of them on our website: http://www.ukbuellgroup.co.uk/419562867 There’s a slideshow which is shareable on all platforms and you can also download or copy individual pictures.
Two of the pictures are shown below.
