Epic! Awesome! Outstanding! Most descriptions can’t quite convey the atmosphere surrounding EBR.
But just take one look at the product and try to convince yourself these terms don’t apply! It’s futile.

Consider for a moment just what has been achieved with this largely unproven hybrid street bike turned racer.
With only five 2011 AMA Superbike races under it’s “chain” it has achieved very promising results,
including a 6th place at the 2011 AMA Pro Racing Superbike Finals in New Jersey with Geoff May aboard.

There was also an 1190RS run by Taylor Knapp, former 1125RR pilot, that had been on the assembly line

in East Troy just a couple of days before the 2011 NJ event. That bike was LOANED to Taylor for a one weekend
tryout that saw Taylor produce a 7th place finish on a bike not even broken-in that he had never thrown a leg
over until that Friday morning. Let’s add “incredible!”

EBR has seen its fair share of adjectives used over its brief and tumultuous life but never quite like this.
With major new sponsor Hero Motors on-board, and two-time AMA Pro Racing Daytona Sportbike National Champion
and former Buell 1125R rider, Danny Eslick, riding for EBR, things could hardly look more promising.
This years opening “Daytona 200“ event supported those expectations in that Geoff again achieved a 6th place finish
and Danny a P9 on their first race weekend on a very high speed track not particularly suited to the EBR 1190RS.

That really is incredible for a near stock bike selling in ready to race form for less than some teams spend
on traction control, and needing not much more than removal of the lights and mirrors to compete
in the AMA Pro Racing National Superbike championship.

Many new bikes have been sent racing to prove their breed; few have achieved results
of this caliber this quickly. What the future holds for these deeply talented men and their high tech

machines can only be guessed at, but it sure looks to be nothing but interesting following their results.

So stay tuned to the greatest channel in American Motorcycle Racing.

I’m talking about the “EBR” Channel. Tune in April 20th for the next chapter, Road Atlanta.
