Not sure what to do.

While on one hand, I'd rather not part out a "mostly" perfectly good, RX. I don't want to be shipping one or two or a hand full of screws, or other fasteners and small parts at a time, but I'd would rather sell the bike, for "parts" as a whole, if possible.

The only problems that I know of that the bike has, is the fuel pump runs all the time, the battery is dead, and the bodywork is of a coupla different colors from a low side slide.

So, is there possibly a market for my RX ?

Of course you could make a little more $$ by parting it out but WOW what a time consuming, space eating, 2 dozen trips to the post office, pain in the ASS that is.

You got your moneys worth out of it thats for sure!

IMHO, sell it in one piece and say g'bye. The small sting of it leaving cheaply will be a godsend when its not taking up 2 spots in the garage for a few years.

Parting out would suck, engine, forks, body panels, wheels would go fairly easy then the real pain starts,,

I saw a ragged 14K mile bike sell for around 2.8k, with the issues, it would sell maybe for 3.5 give or take , maybe not as much money as parting it out, but it would find a new home pretty easy imho as a whole, Uship and away

Yea, all one piece is best.

Thanks for reinforcing what I was thinking.
Except for what's noted above, the bike is in very good shape, even the tires and chain !
Will put it in the for sale section as a "roller".

Mike,

I will post your sale over on the EBR 1190 Facebook group if you like. If you are not on that crapshow let me know if that is ok.

Pretty active and lots of sales, prospective buyers are looking there.

Selling parts sucks. Ask me how I know. You have to estimate how much money you gain in your occupation and if you make more than $100/hour just sell it as one piece.

Tpehak - Funny, yeah I know. Even selling more specialized race car parts can be a pain in the ass.

Xbpete - Yeah, thanks. Let me put together a bit of info about the bike and I'll let you know. Give me a coupla days. I should try to get the actual current mileage too. Need to swap the battery from my XB to fire up the dash.
