Anyone brave enough to ride an EBR in full bumper-to-bumper Friday afternoon rush hour traffic including lane splitting deserves much respect. Even more so when they pull over to let a lowly commuter bike with a quarter of the power (me) go by. No way would I commute on my SX. Hope your clutch is OK :-) Any other Bay Area EBR riders out there? | ||

What the hell...I do it daily on my RX, in Los Angeles traffic. Freeways - 10w to the 605s to the 105w to the 405s...and opposite on the way home. Most ANYTIME on these roads suck, traffic wise... 84+ miles a day. Coupla problems in 19,205 miles, but not enough to sell it...yet..! Mike | ||

I'm on the 580 and 680 all the time and only see Japanese bikes! I see a few XBs on the bay bridge now and again. | ||

I ride a yellow RX or arctic white Firebolt on the 680 and 80 between Pleasant Hill and Sacramento. I've yet to see another EBR. I used to see XBs fairly often but that's becoming pretty rare now. |
