I wish the 1190 had a temperature gauge like the 1125. I don't know why I really need it, but I like having it there. Does anyone else miss it or am I just weird?

Not at all. Glad it's gone. No need to focus on another parameter for no reason. Talking to some ebr engineers at homecoming, it was left off on purpose because it's unnecessary. The bike will yell you if it gets too hot, if it's not complaining, don't worry about it.

This morning I was riding the 1125 to work and temp was 31. I was thinking, this is important since the road are wet. Something the 1190 wouldn't do. The 1190 kinda tells me I guess. It flashes engine cold the whole way into work when its below 40. Lol. I keep thinking, so am I!

YES.
I don't like not knowing what's happening inside. Pretty dumb, rather than run the engine into the ground hot, when you can monitor the temperature, and other important things (amps.voltage, etc.)...and quite possibly pull over BEFORE, damage occurs.
Like when the voltage regulator died. I COULD have shut the engine down BEFORE the magneto over charged the battery into...complete destruction..!
That fix wasn't cheap, should have, 1. not happened (if I had, had a gauge !) or 2. the warranty would have been good and not come out of my pocket. AND...if there would have been a gauge, it would have cost Buell/EBR half as much money..!
Don't like driving half blind...
