Anyone know of an LED flasher for turn signal swaps to LED?

Anyone tried this mod from the XBs?

The flasher is built into the gauge cluster.

I haven't tested LED signals to confirm if anything will need to be done, but you may just need to wire in some resistors to add load to avoid a fast flash.

In theory the software in the cluster could be changed to work with LEDs, but it is not something that can be done outside the factory.

Thanks, I imagined a relay would be needed as signals are incandescent.

I've converted all mine to led and the blink rate is the same.

@Terry, what did you go with?
I'm eyeing up some signals by Lightech and Rumble Concepts, but need to be sure they are bright enough.

If the flasher's built into the display, odds are it's a solid state flasher, which would explain why it isn't affected by changing to LED signals.

That would also explain why I cannot find the relay. I'm glad this bike has "arrived" and works with LED turn signals out of the box. It's a little surprising they aren't offered from the factory.

Just some cheapies off of ebay. I cut a piece of rubber to fill the gap on the front.

Those look an awful lot like Lightech brand. Are they knockoffs?

@Terry, are you happy with the LED brightness?

Yes, but these have a smoke lens so they could be brighter.
