It's a crummy video, but I was able to commission a flyby video. I didn't see any others on the 'tube, maybe I'll make some other videos with regular cruising, idling, and on board sound levels.

In the meantime, enjoy:

Damn it!!! I just recently posted my thoughts on becoming more stealthy and now I see this vid and all that goes out the window...shoot!!! That sounded freakin awesome. Is this exhaust louder or quieter then say an 1125 rt3/4? Is that the only design Dean is offering right now? I guess I could just ask Dean himself...shoot!!

They're roughly the same. This is the only one I'm offering at the moment, although I do have other things hiding in the garage.

A question for D adams. Have you ever tried an exhaust like your 1125 Rt-4 on a EBR 1190SX but keeping each cylinder separate for HP or if there is room to add an X collector for scavenging and torque. For dual exhaust look and sound.

Not really enough room to stick an RT-4 in there, mainly because it's too close to the chain and would end up getting damaged.

Btw, the design as it is works quite well. Couple of bikes I know of are pushing 180 hp at the wheel with just the pipe & ecm.

Noticeable difference in power.

How about a removable silencer core, something for the road with a little less decibels, w/o for the track? I live next door to state police and another county officer down the road. I get the evil eye when I ride my 1125R without the silencer on my Barker, they would probably ticket me with the decibels coming out of this one! Does anyone have exactly what the sound rating is on this exhaust? Sounds much louder than my Barker on the 1125R, just sayin'. Not that I don't like it a little load, but I have enough problems from getting tickets on the road because of the lack of discipline on my throttle hand!LOL

A removable baffle may mess with Dean's extensive fuel mapping or could possibly cause reversion within the system. Neither would be a good thing for these motors. A second map with removable baffles installed could be made by Dean, and would be a good sales booster too. Or you could get the full programmable ecu with a set of tips for the primary exhaust and one of Dean's race exhaust systems for the track, but that requires a few hours work on the bike each time you want to play on the weekend.

If you run a PC5 then switching between tunes(w/silencer and w/o) should not be an issue.

I'd be interested in an optional silencer to cut SOME noise (not all...we have V-Twins after all) as I'm in a situation where I'm near the police station. 6:30am startups will make for some unhappy neighbors I'm guessing. I came from an XB with a Drummer SS which was loud, but not this loud.
Again, don't get me wrong, I like the "tuned" loud (which this is), not just loud for loud's sake.
