I upgraded to Baker 1125R HD springs, which I was under the impression was going to be an upgrade.

Is there a seperate spring just for the 1190's?

I'm getting major slip in 3rd gear WTFO.

I took it apart, inspected plates, and installed IAW the 1125R manual.

Steel plates machined side facing inward, last friction plate offset on mounting teeth.

1st steel plate faces the other way. I have no clue why I didn't see it in the 1125 manual, but it is in the 1190 manual.

Slip is no more.

And a word of warning, the Barnett's 1125R clutch springs are softer than the 1190 comfort kit springs. I read in a few sources otherwise, and took their word for it.

I guess if you don't plan on giving it full throttle past 2nd gear, or if you weigh less than 180 pounds, it shouldn't be a problem.
