Any one remove there mirrors and put different style mirrors on?

I was wondering what was done to hold down the 2 reservoirs. I think i have determined that the bolt pattern is 3/8 20.

Are the mirrors on the 1190RS and the 1125R the same.. and will they fit on the 1190RX. because I think that's the best looking mirrors you can get..
I can't wait to try it out myself. I have a set on my XB from a 1125R, but i'm not home before next month so i can't try and see how i looks on my RX : (

Yes the RS used the same crap mirrors as the 1125R.
I replaced them on my RS first thing... Firebolt long-stem, best mirrors I have ever used on a bike.

They are essentially "NIB" and someday I will sell them for the inexplicably high price they command.

Don't need any more long-stems as both 1125R and 1190RS already are kitted.

Thanks tho - : )

If it is to plug unused mirror stem holes, I used plastic Firebolt plugs on my XB when I went to a barend mirror.
