It was mentioned on another thread that a later production VIN could be a little more together than earlier builds.

Anyone have production numbers?

I've seen RX #254 and SX #174

Thanks

DAve

With the numbers as low as they are, I seriously doubt there was much if any changes during the assembly of the bikes completed.
My RX vin. number 00028.
So far, no problems at all. But then again, only had it for a few weeks and right near 1400 miles.

At the time EBR announced their intentions to enter WSBK, the requirement was for at least 1000 bikes to be produced for sale. I believe that number was later reduced so that MV Agusta could compete. I don't know if that affected EBR or not.

EBR 1190RX met requirements.

Concessions for Bimota.

Bimota suspended.

I have no idea what the production requirements were for EBR's approval, but I recall the first year production figure needing to be 1,000 at the time of EBR's approval.

Whether or not that got reduced for EBR at the same time as Bimota's concession, who knows?

Anyone ever figure this out?

More to the point for my needs...

Which color is more rare? Black?

Interesting Lincoln calls this color "cinnamon".
Laid side by side, you can't tell them apart. And I'd say that while calling red, blue doesn't work either, cinnamon is a lot better description of this color.

The guy I put my front fairing against his SUV probably woulda been pissed..!

I do not know the exact time frame but 1000 bikes were not required to start racing last year. 1000 was the numbered that had to be ultimately produced by either the end of September or the end of the year. The Bimota concessions have come since then and it may have effected the total # of bikes required. So maybe 1000 RX's doubt many more world wide.

The highest VIN I have seen so far in the US is #385. Surely there are more.
I have little knowledge of what was distributed to Europe and Australia.

I bought my red 1190RX from GN Gonzales in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in April 2014. It was the first they sold. Of course, I registered it in my home state of Texas.
