Just read this in that cycleworld article. Wonder if it will retrofit.

The other upgrade for 2015 is revised settings for the hydraulically actuated clutch. Due to complaints about the 2014 RX and SX clutch lever requiring too much effort, the engineers went back to the drawing board and reduced the throw of the slave cylinder along with the spring rate. As a result, the pull is now relatively light, particularly for a powerful V-twin.

This is very good news in that EBR is listening.

But in all honesty when I rode the 1190SX I NEVER gave it a second thought.

That's great, EBR is listening to its customers! To be honest though, I have come to really appreciate what they were trying to do with feel of the clutch. You kinda have to have the stiffer pull if you want the same level of feed back.
