Is it the same as the 1125? I need to change the oil in my 1190RX. The part numbers are not the same. I bet they are the same filter.

This is a good thing, as my local EBR dealer does not have any in stock. I really don't like going into the local Harley dealer, but they have 1125 filters and Amsoil 20W-50.

My Harley store really likes to stick it to you for oil filters. $25. Really wish I had planned ahead or that cycle gear stocked a k&n oil filter

Try your local Can-Am Spyder dealer, same oil filter as the Spyder.

Dean,

That's for the 1125. Remember the parts aren't compatible between bikes.

I paid $21.32 each from Longhorn Harley Davidson for two filters. I like to have one on the shelf. I am going to service the 1190 Monday, and ride it next weekend for sure. I'd do the service and ride it this weekend if I wasn't going to be taking apart a friend's 1125R tomorrow.

Jdugger is right! Even the valve caps aren't compatible.

I thought that, in general, K&N oil filters were less-than-the-best parts......

I've used the K&N, HiFlo and Rotax paper filters. All seem to be fine as often as I'm changing them.

With stuff like oil, I'm pretty much of the opinion fighting over which one to use is a lot less productive than simply changing more often.
