My son and I had a rare chance to take a short ride today. Him on little Duc Monster 696 and me on my FXDX. The first thing we noticed was that love bug season has arrived. It seems early for it, but we got plastered with them. We rode some back roads and found the curves the best we can in this part of Florida.

Lunch time found us in Brookesville where we stopped at a country style restaurant for a bite. There were several other bikes in the parking lot so I figured the food couldn't be too bad. Our waitress was, ummm, mature. There was a cute young waitress working too, though, and she looked out the window and saw my son's bike. Every bike in the lot, but my son's was a Harley. Anyway, she sees my son's bike and yells, "Who's riding the Ducati?" My son got the biggest smile and waved at her. She said, "Cool!!"

Not a word about the Harleys. Maybe I need a Ducati too.

And then she could look out the window and yell "Who's riding those Ducatis?"
