At the very least, it wont leak oil everywhere like the BSA motor would...and the electrics will be reliable...and he won't need the leg of a power lifter to crank it..

Sorry guys.

Buell motor is a simple decoy.
Plastic model.

The real power for this unit comes from the antiphlogistine generators cleverly concealed in the vintage panniers.

The giveaway is the heavy gauge blue tubes that carry the activated antiphlogistine to the drive unit concealed in the empty crankcase of the so called "Buell" engine.

Surprised no one else got this, really.

Pretty obvious now that you know what to look for, right?

I've never seen a motorcycle powered by an aphrodisiac.

I knew a chick once who could run on aphrodisiac or battery power.

Was her name, "Maxine", by any chance?

Took a lickin' and kept on ticking?

That is some really nice work, but the lack of a proper chrome Lucas headlamp kind of ruins it.

Of course, installation of even a single Lucas component could cause the entire electrical system to spontaneously combust...

LOL...the Lucas ignition crapped out on my old Victor so often, I fabbed and installed a reliable one from Honda parts...the old leg was good for only so many kicks...

I once worked at an auto electric shop...when a Triumph or MG showed up for work...my eyeballs went CHA-CHING!!!!

wait...is that a v-rod headlamp?

yes....yes it is.

and the frame color is an excuse to use the rest of that blue or something.

Still badass, I have nothing to compare, but it does raise questions. Maybe its supposed to?

And don't forget the ever-popular:

"Why do the British drink warm beer? Because they have Lucas refrigerators!"

ya know , i pity all of you who have never experienced the thrill of owning and riding an old brit bike .

flashback to 1972 , sold my hodaka and bought an ex flat-tracker triumph . the sparkling motor is sitting here before me about to be reborn .

yup , they made mechanics out of riders but that's not such a bad thing : )

The tank is for the dilithium crystals I presume.

Blue though? should be all black, would have looked a lot classier, perhaps he ran out of black paint & had some blue pipe left over from a plumbing job, who knows?

Can't fool Mr. Grump.

The only other guy to spot the dilithium crystal tank.

Don't know why I presumed it to be antiphlogistine.

The blue cables must have confused me.

Noam' sayin"?
