For those who, a] want to wave the flag, or b] don't fully appreciate the achievements of Buell, I give you the just-released Fischer* MRX. A tarted-up SV650 for $8000, give or take a few rubles. Go to www.fischer1.com (warning, possible viral risk at afore-mentioned site; see warnings in posts below) *no relation (Message edited by Blake on May 14, 2009) |

umm be careful with that site? It looks to have been hacked perhaps? Going to it is causing a pdf to ask to be downloaded, looking at the PDF it appears to be trying to call a bunch o javascript. I know there have been exploits announced for Adode Reader Recently. So just FYi... |

Firefox totally freaked, and it crashed instead of downloading. Killed my Windows exlorer too. Had to do a force kill. ~SM |

Actually, originally it was to be a Suzuki motor, but to make the MSRP lower they went with the cloned Hyusong engine. I'm curious to if and how they sell. What dealers will have them? |

(warning, possible viral risk at afore-mentioned site; see warnings in posts below) I never looked at the site. As soon as it stated to open all the alarms went off and I hit the E-stop on my computer. I don't like sites like that. |

jasonk. Are you using windows? Do you javascript enabled? If not then you probably ok. If yes, might want to check you puter and make sure it still ok . My guess is that the pdf it is loading it attempting to exploit recently announced flaws in PDF. It is redirecting to copyolist.com in an iframe to force the PDF download. Depending upon computer settings it is possible that the PDF will load in background, due to bad stuffs and you will not know it.. Just FYI... |

I think my Adblocker stopped the malicious payload. Site loaded fine, nothing tried to download or execute. |

Update: Booted my laptop up just now and there's this annoying "Spyware Protect 2009" program running which throws up constant pop-ups warning me that my system in infected, yadda yadda. I can't stop it or uninstall it. There's an icon for it in my system tray, but a left-click (to stop, uninstall, etc) only brings up the original window bugging me to upgrade. I know it's fake because of the bad english... Wait... I just ran my Malware software and as soon as it finished, the program and icon both diappeared. I think I'm good. |

When I used the link from the first post before it was edited the alarms went off. When I punched in www. fischer.com(I forgot the Fischer1.com) I got in and no bells or whistles, Thank God. Not likely to go back either. |

xl1200r, yeah antivirus 2009 (aka smitfraud) is a major pain in the a$$. grab malwarebytes (if you don't have it already), and scan again. |

avast and malwarebytes are the shiznittee. That bikes nothing impressive. Still take the Buell. I wouldn't trust hysung in anything. Take the Rotax over a Korean motor any day of the week |

Doon - Malewarebytes is what I run. Everything seems peachy at the moment. I'm also not teribly impressed with the bike. Doesn't seem like they're really doing anything "new" or "different". The Japanses can get away with building "normal" sportbikes because they're the best at it. Everyone else has to do something different to be competitive. These guys won't last, I don't think. |

...XP SP3, Firefox (latest version), Mcafee Enterprise edition (at work), Windows Defender (only microshit program that works in my opinion)...no problems, no bugs, no warnings...etc. |

Kaspersky Internet Security. Much better than Norton or Mcafee IMO. |
