Are the case halves on the M2's rough aluminum, or are they powder coated silver the way the X1's are in black?

Sorry didn’t get back to you on the Alima slick Shake it until it comes out like a gel, you can spray it on or put some on a rag and just rub till it stops turning your rag black. Only use a little at a time.

The way I discovered it was I bought some for a sticky sliding glass door and read the can. Can be used to mask and cleaning aluminum. Tried it and worked great. Had tried different stuff over the years and this worked the best. A little time consuming but worth it.
