Hello Guys,

Anyone with experience of the later S3T 1999+ foam saddle bag inners being incompatible with the earlier type bags - that used a nylon inner??

Wow a bit of searching shows these saddle bags cracked a lot

Mine cracked a couple years ago also. At first i thought it was from hauling to many full beer growlers. No doubt that didn't help them but then i started reading up on all the issues about stress cracks dating back to the 2000's. I'm not handy with fiberglass repairs but i may get some scrap ABS plastic and a plastic welder a give that a try.

The narrow foam saddle bag inners will fit all S3T wide or narrow saddlebags.
Of course, the wide foam saddle bag inners will fit all S3T wide saddlebags and will not fit inside the narrow saddlebag lid.
