On a side note.... we did get the buells to the dragon. Had a great time. Two s1w's causing havoc hahah
Actually, it was a very controlled, cautious and HOT 4 days of riding.
Good times!

That sounds like great fun, and the S1's are looking excellent.

The only one I’ve had to mount from the bottom was on an S2. The frame doesn’t provide enough room to mount from the top.

It's been a while since the last update, but I'm pleased to report that all remaining issues have been fixed.

It does indeed appear that the weirdness in the front end resulted from the incorrect installation of the front isolator. A washer was missing and we discovered that the isolator was bored out to accommodate the original larger bolt which caused issues with the new front motor mount (which works better with the new type bolt that has a smaller diameter).

There's also a new front bracket for the exhaust, we've redone the pushrod cover gaskets (nightmare) and we've mounted a bigger pulley in the back. Feels much more feisty now.

All that's left is an oil change once the roads here are no longer covered in salt and then she's pretty much officially done.

That's a great looking bike! Mine is silver as well and I always plan to repaint it someday in the future, but it does look really good in silver.

Yeah, it's tasteful, I think.

I don't reckon it'll see so much bad weather/abuse that it's likely to happen - but - if it's ever in need of a respray, I'll probably go for the nuclear blue / snap red combo. Hard to beat in terms of eye popping awesomeness.

Forgot to mention (mostly because it's probably pretty well known on this board), but damn the S1 is so much fun to ride. Can't wait to put a lot of miles on this thing.

That's always been my plan. I love the red/blue bikes. Can't say black doesn't tempt me as well.

Great minds think alike :P, black would be my second choice as well.
