Apparently there are two types listed for the 95-02 buell carbs? I picked up one (metal knob at end) and the threaded rod that screws into carb is a larger diameter than what mine (98s1w cv40) accepts.
I believe i need the cable with the black knob as the diameter of the rod is smaller.
Am i missing something here?

That one with the metal end looks like the ones for EFI bikes. I think they have it listed wrong.

That had occured to me. I cant seem to recall what the one from my x1 looked like but, im guessin youre correct.

Yeah that crosses to 56482-99Y for EFI models. It is labeled wrong.

awhile back, I bought one of those thumb screws for the idle adjust. turns out its more difficult than what I had imagined and I'm lookin to go back to the stock cable.
ill probably just send this one back and get the correct cable. unless someone wants it. it was 15.75 and is new in package. taken out only to try it. call it 16$ shipped?
