More products available from Pegasus Performance!

We have lightweight magneto/sprocket assemblies in stock. In 34t form, these sprockets are over 1.3 lbs lighter than the stock 35t, thus much less rotating mass, and they are 8 bolt units, so you can replace that problematic 4 bolt unit to get both more longevity/reliability and better performance! The 34t unit will give you approximately 3% gear reduction without affecting your speedometer, so not including the lighter mass, you will have 3% increase in acceleration with similar 3% decrease in top speed per gear, which if we are honest, stock gearing is somewhat out of reach for most tubers anyway. For those of you that are on the opposite spectrum, I do also have 38t units available, for 9% higher top speed and RPM reduction per gear, but similarly will reduce acceleration. The 38t will need a longer chain, which I can also supply for additional $50. The 34t uses the exact same chain as stock but the shoe will obviously need to be readjusted.

These lightweight sprockets are $150+ shipping.

These kits include spacers that I had made for some instances that the rotors touch the stator. Test fit the assembly before installing the chain. If you have rubbing, remove the assembly and place the spacers on both shafts to space out the rotor and clutch to clear the stator. The Baker XL6 has a similar fix with their trans kits for other reasons, and if you have a Baker XL6 installed, you will not need the spacers.

Download paint.net.

Open photo in paint.net.

Resize no wider than 1000 pixels, no taller than 750.

"Save".

A screen will pop up with a slider bar, and a Kb size reference. Slide the bar until the Kb size is less than 100Kb. "Save".

Select that image in the badweb "upload attachment" screen.

Lightweight because it's aluminum, or better steel, or better design?

It's a hardened steel piece for lifetime use but has a wider center bore similar to the 08-10 XB sprockets, which nets significantly less weight.
