Welcome. Sweet bike. I have a ‘96 S1 as well. I wish mine came with the upgrades yours has. It’s out of service until I buy a new read shock.

Traxxion dynamics has the OEM fork seals and so does Race Tech. Still trying to source bushings and dust covers/wipers. Twin in the Netherlands have the bushings but they're pricey and you have to wait until they have enough orders to make a batch.

Bradley I picked up a later model rear shock @ a motorcycle swap meet for $40. Then found another for $25, same day. There are some on ebay right now, not that cheap, but not too bad. I bought them both. One is on my X1, and I have 1 for my carbed Buell, which I will be building with my spare parts. 20 years and my X1 is still the best $ I've ever spent.
