If this bike does not remind me of my '96 Lightening....nothing will.

The new Harley FXDR 114!!!

Is Eric Buell STILL secretly working for Harley??

There MAY be an oil cooler on the front of it....but as far as I can see? It is a pure drag racer. No liquid cooling.....??

If you have watched all the vids on it....Vance and Hines has already produced a GREAT package for it!!

It is stuff like that.....that shows "HD" were NOT the only People on this project!!!

I am thinking "split window" Corvette kind of stuff. THIS may be a bike to buy. But quite pricey!!!

OK....Maybe it IS liquid cooled? I don't know. But being the size of a small car engine.....and with all the EPA shit??

I STILL would love to ride one!!!!

The only LC bike I have is my '99 Valkyrie!!!!

I rode my Buell (aka Half Breed) from Cleveland OH to Milwaukee for Harleys 115th. While I was there I laid the smack down on a few new Harleys. I ran against against a 114 FXDR on my 18 year old 73.4 cubic Buell X1. 12.64 @ 106 mph to his BEST of the day 12.98 @ 100 mph. Also ran against a 2019 CVO Street Glide 117 his 13.56 @ 98.99 to my 12.675 @ 107. FXDR is a V Rod in new cloths, it's "OKAY" I expected more from it. I expected more from my Buell too but I blame the rider because I am a baby out of the hole. I pulled the front wheel a few times leaving the line. I need to slip the clutch more.

I'm not sure I sure it? What parts of the bike remind you guys of an S1?

Went to look at one. The FXDR is a beautiful bike, to look at... fit and finish really nice.

But between the width of the bike and the forward controls, it's an uncomfortable curl to the pegs though.

And it only has around a hundred horses to push its' nearly 700 pounds minus rider.

It's not a sport bike, but it is a power cruiser to be sure.

It's easy to think of it as an analog to Ducati's Diavel, but that bike spanks it for specs at around 150 hp and only 450 pound weight.

But for lack of dealerships, the Diavel will remain a niche bike in comparison, which should allow HD an upper hand, IF it can attract the right audience.

I want to think and say that the FXDR is sorely needed and a fine bike in HDs lineup and wish it well.

The front brake is so *cute*...four tiny little pistons on two small rotors...I'm amazed with the "performance" image, they didn't adapt the touring platform's Brembo setup to it.

The power to weight ratio of the FXDR is very nearly on par with the XL1200CX / Roadster. I think we could all agree that the Roadster is more nimble.

"This" is going to be an interesting bike.
