Filled the fuel tank up last week sometime; the bike's been sitting in the garage since, no issues.

Rode it to work today, hopped off at work, and the rubber gasket around the aluminum fill neck is wet with fuel at the front by the overflow valve. Hose coming out of the valve is dry.

I know I was cranking it through some turns today so fuel was certainly sloshing around in the tank ; ) Shall I plan on pulling the valve out and putting a new o-ring on it this weekend? Or could it be something more involved? Any guesses?

Riding in...I was reminded of how much I LOVE that motorcycle. 22 years old and it still brings a stupid grin to my face when I ride it!

If you get the $17 o-ring from the dealership, expect it to swell quite a bit after installation. It's made of Vigon, not rubber.

So I'm looking at the vent-to-cap-ring seal, right? Don't have to take out the six bolts that hold the cap ring to the tank and booger that seal, do I?
