Anyone have ideas of what a 1997 White Lightning with 2,700 original miles all stock would be worth?}

Depends on the overall condition. Are you sure it is a 97 and not a 98 S1 white lightning or 99 X1?

Specific to you thread, the is no such thing as a 1997 X1 White Lightning.

X1 designated the 99-02 Lightning model years, fuel injected bike with the bolt on aluminum subframe. (There was a 02 WL too, it had the all white paint and a blue racket ball colored ceramic coated header).

The "White Lightning" bike was made in 1998. It was an S1W and it a vin specific to the model.

Specific to what I thinkyou're asking: A 1997 bike would be a S1 Lightning. It would be worth as much as you are willing to pay for it. Stock and that low miles means you'll spend a fair bit of time and money replacing seals, gaskets, and other parts that dry up and die over time. Stored indoors and covered could still be worth quite a bit more than outdoor storage.

It could go for as low as $2,200ish up to $6,500 or more depending on condition and location, but that would have to be pristine and already having those dry rotted parts replaced. Roughly speaking.

As Little says, the X1W is a 2002 model bike.

Give away is a completely white frame, and 99 times out of a hundred, a blue header.

2002's are selling in the $3000 - $3500 range in the SE, depending on the modifications.

Can't be much help on the 97 price tough

Good luck
