I find it hard to believe it didn't come with instructions....

Just looking at the photo - red wire, ring terminal = battery +. There should be a similar wire in black, that's ground. From there...just match the terminals.

Or...check with DDM. Again - I find it hard to believe it shipped without paperwork.

yep. no directions in the box. The website has several write ups but not vehicle specific. im hoping for a plug and play solution.
thanks for the offer Ken. ill take whatever help I can get as I am low voltage challenged.
if it cant be fixed with a hammer or duct tape its an electrical problem.

So I emailed DDM and they referred me to the instructions that are on their site. They said that they are not vehicle specific. that's fine but there are still 5 or more connections that are not described on their site. I would have thought thought they could have had a wiring schematic that shows what wire goes where, what connector connects to what connector. Instead they show a car engine bay and a hand holding a connector and then a basic description, again not every connection is described.
Does anyone have a more descriptive explanation or a wiring diagram/schematic?
