Hi all , looking for some Bar risers for my S1 and found the link to American Sport Bike, but cant afford the first time fee of $86.46 to have them sent to the UK. Does anyone know of another source or have a set to sell ? Thanks.

Given you're on 7/8th handlebars I'd be amazed if you couldn't find a generic pair in the UK for little money. The breakers will have them no doubt too.

Trojan Horse is a UK based BadWeB sponsor. They carry Rizoma risers.

I have a set up that I designed that converts the 7/8 cradle to 1 1/8 and allows for stock gauge plate and gauges...
it gives a 1 inch rise and allows full choice of 1 1/8 style fat bars that taper to 7/8.

Get a handlebar clamp (the top piece) for any other 7/8" bar, with NO gauge mount on it. Something with a flat top.

Turn it upside-down and put it under your bars.

Get longer bolts, and use your top clamp as usual with this new clamp as a spacer. Should net you a little over an inch in rise.

Colin first thing is can you tell if your lower bar clamps are cast into your triple or are they the ones that bolt on S1 came with the two 96 had the bolt on for sure.
If you have the bolt on remove the bolt from under the top triple you can then use a spacer how ever tall you want these can be purchased at hardware stores or make a pair if you go with a 1" spacer buy a 1" longer bolt.

S1owner, the lower clamp is cast into the triple. Rocket, the risers are at an angle to the bars so appear to be Buell tuber only .Brother in Buells, they might be the wrong angle as twinmotorcycles and I think American Sport Bike state differences within the Fueller range of the angle of the clamp to the bars.http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Buell-OEM-Upper-Triple -Tree-1997-2002-X1-S3-S1-J0105-BB-B3U-/26135290565 6?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3cd9d8 dbb8

Have you considered swapping the bars vs. trying to raise the stock ones? Bars are cheap.

Yea , borrowed some Ali bars, but they were too wide and not any higher , plus the originals feel right , just could do with a bit higher, so risers are an easy option. If anyone is ordering parts from American Sport Bike and would be kind enough to get some and forward them to the UK then I would be grateful and pay with paypal before shipping.

Yes the firebolts have the clip-on style bars ,the blasts have the bar clamps straight on the triple and the s2 have the bar halves bolted around the upper part fork leg
so if you ask me ,these http://www.preeng.com/xcart/1-Bar-Riser.html
Do fit a S1 clamp to.

It`s just a pity the companies in the States do not accept paypal or have a reasonable international postal fee for small items, as import duties are on the postage costs as well.
