All I can tell you is my friend who ordered them spoke on the phone to me to say they were out of stock and awaiting an order from the States. In that conversation he did mention their name, and it might well have been Motorcycle Store House. It sounds familiar is best I can tell you.

If it were them, is there something you can tell me I should know?

ROCKET: The ISOLATORS from American Torque on Ebay look correct to me and they offer shipping to the UK.

KEN: My S1 Project (currently in progress) started with a frame sourced from Ebay as well as 90% of the parts. Yes, I am around the 5K mark now (including engine), but it's all in pieces and boxes waiting to be attended too. Probably will be close to 10K when I am done. Obviously its more about saving these bikes than financial return, for me anyway.

For now the S2 restore has trumped the S1 Project at least til summer 2014.

Generally speaking I have found little or no issues locating parts (for now anyway).

Yes, I am an admitted hoarder of tuber parts, because I love restore and ride Buell(s)!

Unfortunately, as time marches on the feasibility of daily riding gives way to collectors item status due to the eventual "end of days" for parts availability.

These are the rear isolators I purchased for my X1 rebuild and they were exact fit. Need to clear a little on the sprocket cover plastic because of the lower extended part that would catch the frame in the event of an isolator failure .

I have purchased many items from this dealer with excellent results .
I have purchased many items from American sportbike as well with excellent results from them also .
My X1 rebuild stimulated the economy in several states. :-) But now it stimulates me ..

Thank you for the help one and all, and the generous offer to ship thanks Mark.

It looks like I'm sorted. Called friend today. Confirms I should have the iso's for Friday. Hope they're good ones : )
