im looking for the wire that goes from the stator to the voltage regulator connector...i have an s2, and the wire is chafed from hanging out to close to the belt...any suggestions? thanks dan

You can splice a wire in, "BUT" you must use solder for the connection ...

To keep your wiring from doing this you should tie wrap all your wires to where they will not rub on anything or wiggle ...

This will keep down the MYSTERY ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS ...

The cluster of wires coming from the altinator wear through at a point under the starter motor.
What you need is arms like an orangutan.
Cut the offending wire, slide on heatshrink, join and solder, then have a banana, you earned it.
