really nice job with the "home-made" tool... +1 to what XR3s said...you should sell these!, Id buy one, I figure one day I will need one...with 4 tubers sitting around eventually Im going to have a bad day....

you should sell these.


I run manual machines no CNC, with that and the sites sponsorship policy makes it cost prohibitive, cheaper for you to buy the Jims tool.

I will never have to do that job again........I solved my issues with 10mm studs instead of the wimpy 7mm harly chinese junk! I got sick of fixing this issue. I removed the heads in 45 minutes and had them at my machinist in 20 minutes and had them done in 2 days. I also had them modify the D&D exhaust system to work with the larger studs.No problems for 4 yrs now.

JRamsey, understand the issue surrounding the mfg and selling, I just try and buy from "us" instead of the market if someone here is making something for "us".

After several broken studs, the Harley Dealer near Pike's peak suggested pulling my studs and using allen bolts. I've had no problems in the decade since.
