I am looking for the winter riding season here in sunny southwest Florida where the weather is finally starting to cool a bit. I want to get all of the maintenance done on this bike that I have been neglecting a bit and really want to bring back the handling and the power of the bike.

I bought this bike used, and never really knew how it should handle. I have a blown shock among other things, lol. I was plinking around today looking at a leak in a fuel filter and I realized that I don't know if the isolators are even adjusted properly. I hear some odd noises every once in a while and I am not sure if it is because the isolators are worn and causing more vibration, etc.

What should I look for?

There is no adjustment.
Easy test for isolators:
rev it to 3000.
If the thing vibrates less, your isolators are fine.

Maybe I am using the wrong terminology. What are the adjusters on the front engine mount and towards the rear engine mount called?

Oh those are called tie bars.
You're not supposed to adjust those.
They are set at the factory.
The swingarm is connected to the back of the engine and the tube frame is connected to the top of the engine.
Those links define the chassis geometry and allow the engine to flop around in only one plane as it's running.

The front rocker box just seems so close to the motor mount I thought maybe the tie bars were wearing out. Maybe I'm just a bit paranoid.

You are.

The tie rods do not wear, nor do they get adjusted.

The isolators are rubber discs behind each foot peg, and one right behind the upper triple tree. if they have visible tears its time to replace.

Thanks for the info guys, I should be good then. The rubber isolates appear to be fine and my bike doesn't vibrate too much when revved.
