What size spark plug does the 2000 x1 take? I took then both out and it looks like the one in the rear cylinder is bigger then the front one. Also does anyone know the proper gaps?

H-D 10R12 spark plug, if it is the same as my '01 X-1. There is an NGK equivalent; go for the iridium one.

Gap is 0.038-0.043 in.

The 'bog' is most likely an electrical issue. Loose battery cable or ground, ign switch in a partial fail mode, ect.

One thing to try upfront: When the engine starts to bog, open the gas cap. The tank vent hose may not be happy.

Hope this helps, Dave

Pull the wire that goes to the ETS sensor.

If no change, replace it. American Sport Bike sells them. Get the socket too. Makes it easier.

Replaced both spark plugs new spark plug wire cleaned air filter changed 02 sensor(old ones wire was broken at the tip think that might be the problem) taking my exhaust to a shop tommorrow to get it fixed(its cracked at the top) and then putting it all back together if it doesn't work and still gives me problems I will sell it for cheap cuz I don't want to deal with electrical
I've got a question on the 2000 x1 can I completely remove the 02 sensor? I absolutely hate them

...you need the O2 sensor; its part of the F.I. system. If you were to convert the bike to carburetor setup, yes, but that involves a bit of work(and $$$$$$).LT

The flange is broken at the very top of my exhaust does anyone have a method to fix this? I was thinking dremmel away the old weld a new piece(same diameter as pipe) on then weld a peice(a little bigger diameter then pipe) on where the flange was hopefully recreating the flange effect any one else's idea? Maybe if someone has a spare header sitting in there garage that's broken if you wanna slice off a good flange and send it my way ill pay you for it and shipping and ill weld the piece onto my header
