Paul. I apologize. I believe I sent you an email. I also had a problem with ghetto bird. You may receive two. I'm not sure what I did to screw up the shipments... but I made you guys another.

Fox, I can take a picture of the muffler and email that to you tomorrow, I'm at work now.

It's in pretty good shape with the exception of the missing inlet elbow, since White Brothers closed shop I'm kind of stuck in sourcing the inlet, and as far as I can tell no-one in Utah has a mendrel bender for me to talk to about getting one made, it will probably need to come from another muffler.

Got mine mounted, and it may be me, but there seems to be less front wheel bounce which is a very good sign.

Less front wheel bounce at idle I should say. No chance to ride it yet.

Negative. That is not relevant in my design as its no where near as thick as a real stenzel. OEM stenzels are 1/2" thick... which is a waste of weight. Which is why I made mine thin with a cross shaft welded in for rigidity. Allows you to maintain the D nut if you prefer, as well as not have to use a counter bored hole.

You can mount anyway you'd prefer... HOWEVER, my suggested mount would be to bolt it on ON TOP of the D washer. Then Nut torqued down as usual.

After having mine on for a week, the rear tie-rod dug into the aluminum enough to ovalize the hole and render it useless, also looks to be developing stress cracks at the across bend right also where the center channel was cut in...Fox, i think you should have just welded the small piece to the top instead of cutting it in and welding. $66 lesson learned...

..anyways, stenzels really do work. I have noticed a significant reduction the big vibes (the front wheel bounce at idle) and well as greatly diminishing the hard-to-describe loose monkey-motion feel the bike had when driving out of a corner, the only downside is more noticeable high-frequency vibes felt thru the pegs and bars at speed, but my last bike was a KTM 625SMC the vibed way more.

SOOOOO day before yesterday I made my own stenzel out of a piece of 2" angle mild steel. I can take pics if anyone is interested, but basically i ran a sawzall down one side so it was only about 3/8's tall and still 2" wide, sanded the sharp edges, bent it and drilled the holes. sure it's twice as heavy but also indestructible....
