Anyone know if a 99 X1 shifter and brake pedal will work on a 97 S3?

I think the shifter will, but is the brake pedal different?

i think the brake pedal is different. If they used the same rear master on the s3 as the m2 then it wont work.

The Brake pedal and gear lever are the same on the S3 and M2 but not the X1.

The brake pedal will work with some modification. My S3 has a X1 brake pedal.
